The Marketplace is a 112,500 square
foot, one-level open air neighborhood retail center, conveniently
located in northwest Davis on Covell Boulevard, just east
of Highway 113. The trade area is comprised primarily of
young, well-educated, fast track professionals and, because
of its proximity to the UC Davis campus, the center also
draws quite heavily from the 30,000+ student population.
All shops in the Marketplace have street exposure and unique
store fronts. Outdoor eating courts and gathering areas
accompany illuminated and ceramic works of art.
Other major tenants in The Marketplace include
Safeway, Long's Drug Store, Blockbuster Video, Petco, Big
5 Sporting Goods, Strings Italian Café, Noah's New
York Bagels, Peet's Coffee and Tea, Jamba Juice, and TCBY
Yogurt.
